Arkansas State College a part of ‘supercomputer’ growth
9 school members from Arkansas State College are serving to lead growth of a “supercomputer” undertaking involving eight schooling and analysis entities in three states.
Dr. Xiuzhen Huang, professor of pc science and director of A-State’s Middle for No-Boundary Considering (CNBT), is serving as one of many co-principal investigators for the undertaking, which has attracted main funding from the Nationwide Science Basis (NSF).
Researchers at Oklahoma State College (OSU) secured the Main Analysis Instrumentation (MRI) award of $4 million from NSF to develop the brand new supercomputer, and OSU is contributing $1.7 million.
